Melissa White

BFA, B.E.D.S (Hons), M.Arch (Hons), ARB
MWA, an architectural and interior design studio, was founded by Canadian-British architect Melissa White in 2016. Having studied under the tutelage of the award-winning Brian MacKay-Lyons, and working for award-winning architecture studios in Montreal, Halifax, and London, Melissa launched MWA to create a thoroughly collaborative approach to architecture.  Specialising in bespoke residential projects, her passion is to work closely with her clients to create innovative designs that closely reflect how they use spaces. Melissa brings a strong design sensibility to all her work, and teaches at The Interior Design School, sharing her expert knowledge on planning, structural and spatial design.

Ilia Andreopoulou

BA Arch(Hons), Prof Dip Arch
Born in Australia, Ilia studied architecture at the University of Westminster after which she worked for Ibbotson Architects, London. She completed her Professional Diploma in Architecture at The Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University where she studied under the award winning architect Tony Fretton before joining Melissa White Architects.

Lizzie Chen

Originally from China, Lizzie has lived in the UK for over 12 years. She was trained at The Bartlett School of Architecture and at the University of Westminster after which she wrote editorial for Arch Daily, Beijing and later worked for the award winning Shigeru Ban Architects, Tokyo.
